Dr. Mareeni Stanislaus

Dr. Stanislaus was among the first female OB-GYNs to serve California’s Central Coast, where she has worked and resided since 1996. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She operates out of Twin Cities Hospital (Templeton), Sierra Vista Hospital (San Luis Obispo), French Hospital (San Luis Obispo) and also has privileges at Mee Memorial Hospital (King City) and Marian Regional Medical Center (Santa Maria).

 

Her academic career spans several continents. She was born in Colombo, Sri Lanka, then studied in London and Honolulu, where she graduated from the prestigious Punahou High School (President Obama’s alma mater).

 

After achieving dual undergraduate degrees from Stanford University, she attended medical school at UC San Diego, then accomplished her internship and residency at the University of Pennsylvania.

 

Dr. Stanislaus’ holistic approach to women’s health enables her to diagnose and treat her patients in the context of the whole person. She feels fortunate to be in Templeton, where she has the opportunity to take care of women in all cycles of life. She proudly is now delivering children of children she delivered when she first started her practice.

 

Dr. Stanislaus lives in Templeton with her husband, Ishka, children Mishta, Sachin and Shobana, newfoundlands Mabel and Dudley, and rabbits Artemis and Pepper.

 

She is a member of AmSpa and California Medical Association.
